皇頂觀音起源於福建安溪,以天然馥郁的蘭花香和獨特的「觀音韻」而稱著,為中國十大名茶之一。一茶軒的皇頂觀音製作經歷十餘道工序,全手工製作,工藝複雜,製工精湛,中度發酵炭火烘焙(約25%-50%),外型條索圓結均淨,多呈螺旋形,身骨重,色澤砂綠青潤起白霜。
沖泡後香氣清高馥郁,滋味醇厚甜鮮,湯色清澈金黃,呈琥珀色,回韻持久,飲後齒頰留香,這種獨特風韻稱為「觀音韻」,蜜底甜香,回味無窮。由於香郁味厚,耐沖泡,故有「綠葉紅鑲邊,七泡有餘香」之譽。
Imperial Oolong originates from Anxi, Fujian Province. One of the “10 greatest teas from China”, it is known for a natural orchid scent and a unique aftertaste. There are more than 10 steps in the production of Imperial Oolong at One Teahouse, all done by
hand with skill and experience. The tea is roasted on charcoal fire and fermented medially (between 25% and 50%). The tea leaves display a rich green colour, firm and spiral in shape.
The brewed tea impresses with a deep perfume, as well as a sweet, vivid taste. The amber-hued liquid also has a long aftertaste that stays in the mouth. Its richness also means it can make many brews.
