壽眉主產於福建省，其外形芽葉連枝，無老梗，葉整卷如眉，香氣清純。製造壽眉的原料採摘標準為一芽二葉至一芽二、三葉。要求含有嫩芽、壯芽。開湯沖泡後觀看，葉底均整，茶條柔軟，色澤灰綠帶黃，湯色呈橙黃色。

Longevity hails from Fujian Province. It comes with a bud and leaves attached to the stem. The leaves curl up like eyebrows, offering a mild perfume. The tea is typically made with shoots (tender or firm) with one bud and two to three leaves. After brewing, the tea leaves stay intact and soft, its colour a mix of grey, green and yellow. The liquid has a colour between orange and yellow.
